Peril On The Atlantic by A.M. Howell

Alice’s father works on the Queen Mary, a huge ship sailingacross the Atlantic with shops, animals and even celebrities on board. Alice is staying on the ship for the summer and is excited for all of the adventures she will have. But when she sneaks away to explore, she witnesses a shocking attack. Alice and hernew friend Sonny start to uncover sabotage plot and they need to race solve the mystery before the Queen Mary reaches New York.

Peril On The Atlantic is a fun and exciting middle grade book that is really hard to put down. It has lots of twists, turns and suspense. I liked all of the mystery and adventure in this book.

I loved that this book had lots of real people and ships in it. Even though this book is fictional, I learned a lot about the Queen Mary and what kind of people traveled on it.

I really enjoyed the characters in the Peril On The Atlantic and my favorite is probably Sonny. I think he was my favorite because he is nice, smart and a really good friend to Alice.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes historical fiction and anyone looking for an exciting middle grade book to read. The adventure in this book reminded me of the ‘Adventures On Trains’ series by M.G. Leonard and Sam Sedgman, so if you liked those books I would definitely recommend Peril On The Atlantic.
