Interview with Golden Books Girl

Amy is my favorite book blogger and she has been super helpful when I was setting up my blog. I hope that one day my blog will be as awesome.

How long have you been book blogging?

Since June 2017, so just over 5 years. It’s really hard to believe, but I love it more now than ever before, truly.

What do you find is the hardest type of post to write?

This is probably bad to admit, but it’s reviews. It’s so difficult to properly express my feelings about things, and I worry I won’t do books justice. But I love it when my reviews make authors smile, or convince fellow readers to pick something up.

What is your favorite type of post to write?

Definitely author interviews! Although planning blogmas is my most favourite thing ever, and this year’s is going to be bigger and better than ever… so that too!

What is your favorite genre of books to read?

Mystery books, hands down. And my favourite mystery author is Robin Stevens! I’m actually planning to try and read my first Agatha Christie this autumn too, which feels super exciting.

If you were stranded on a desert island what 2 books, 2 movies and two species of animals would you bring?

– Death in the Spotlight and If I Never Met You, I think!
– My all time fave Pretty in Pink and a more recent fave, Ticket to Paradise (I love romcoms, in movie and book form!)
– dogs and then something that can swim, so I can get off the island
