Books I am looking forward to reading

The Hummingbird Killer by Finn Longman

I absolutely loved The Butterfly Assassin and cannot wait to read more about Isabel Ryans. I really enjoyed seeing her attempts at being normal in the last book and am so excited to see how they end this time. I have heard so many amazing things about this book and am trying my best to read my current books as fast as possible so I can read The Hummingbird Killer.

Sh!t Bag by Xena Knox

Sh!t Bag is about Freya, who wakes up with a temporary ileostomy bag on her stomach. Things only get worse when she gets shipped off to ‘Poo Camp’, a place where kids with bowel diseases bond, and when people start calling her Sh!t Bag.

I have heard nothing but good things about this book and am so excited to read it. It looks like it will be both a funny and an informative book that helps show what life can be like for young people with gut diseases.

Murder On A School Night by Kate Weston

Murder On A School Night follows Annie and Kerry who are caught up in the murder of a classmate who’s been choked to death with a menstrual cup. With more people being killed by the menstrual murderer, the duo fights the patriarchy and local detectives to solve the crimes.

This book looks amazing. It looks very funny and I so far have enjoyed just reading about the book. I am really excited to read Murder On A School Night and after reading about it, it looks like a book that will make me laugh out loud.
