The Curious Case of the Irish Yeti by Alan Nolan

The Curious Case of the Irish Yeti is a world book day book that can be bought with a book token. It is a part of the Molly Malone and Bram Stoker series.

When the dogs of Dublin start disappearing, rumours are spread of the Irish Yeti, a terrifying creature with white fur, purple eyes and who eats digs for breakfast. Without guard dogs, thieves are running loose and without the sheepdogs, sheep and goats are escaping markets throughout the city. Molly Malone knows she must find the mysterious yeti when Her Majesty – Molly’s dog – goes missing too. She, Bram and the Sackville Street Spooks set off to save the dogs from wherever they’ve been taken to.

This book is short and easy to read, it also has some great pictures. This book manages to have all of the magic of the rest of the series in under a hundred pages. Every page there is a joke to make you laugh out loud.

This book is super fast paced and impossible to put down, I finished it in on sitting. The Curious Case of the Irish Yeti is a great insight into what Molly, Bram and the Sackville Street Spooks get up to between their larger adventures.
