Soulmates and Other Ways to Die by Mellisa Welliver

I loved Soulmates and Other Ways to Die. It is full of adventure, exciting action scenes, evil billionaires, friendship and romance. Anyone who liked My Love Life and the Apocalypse will love this book too.

Soulmates and Other Ways to Die is set in a dystopian world where everyone has a soulmate, the only issue is that you can feel your soulmates pain or if they die, you do too. Zoe and Milo find out they’re soulmates. They are complete opposites. Zoe wants to survive at all costs; she evaluates every risk and is ready for the apocalypse. Milo loves taking risks; he lives for the thrill and jumps off cliffs for fun. They are determined to find a cure to being soulmates so they can live their lives how they want.

This book is impossible to put down. It’s funny, gripping and has a bunch of unexpected twists. It has amazing characters and even better dogs. My favorite character (other than the dogs) is Nell. She’s funny and even though she is only on a page or two, I thought she was really cool. I really liked watching the evolution of the relationships in this book, from hate, to friendship, to love.

Soulmates and Other Ways to Die is amazing and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, young adult romance to read over the Easter break or at any point.
