Jamie is a sweet and funny book. It follows Jamie, a non-binary kid with a pretty good life. That is until they reliasse that they are going to have to pick between a girls school or a boys school next year and whichever option they choose, they are going to be leaving a friend behind.

Jamie is a book I have been wanting to read for a really long time and I am so glad I finally got to read it. Jamie is a Middle-Grade book with lots of queer and non-binary representation. It’s really fast paced and easy to read and it is very informative. Every chapter has a guild to words that explains words that kids might not fully understand or know – like pride or non-binary.

Jamie is a heartwarming book about protesting and standing up for yourself. It is a book full of hope, acceptance and pride. Jamie has great characters and I love reading about the bonds between Jamie’s friends and family. This book is great for anyone 10+
