The Witchlings is about twelve year-old Seven Salazar who embarks on a daring quest after her worst nightmare comes true, she is a spare. That means she will never be able to achieve her lifelong dream of being a journalist and will be seen as an outcast for the rest of her life. Seven, Thorn and Valley are given the impossible task and need to save the towns from the nightbeast.

The Witchings is a wonderful book filled to the brim with magic and adventure. It is funny and has massive twists that I guarantee you won’t see coming.

I would recommend this book to slightly younger readers but I think anyone could enjoy it.
