My first miniature book is The Weather Girls by Sarah Webb. The Weather Girls is a really sweet book set during the Emergency in Ireland. It follows two friends, Sibby and Grace, who rescue a German pilot from a plane crash. This book is a Middle-Grade book, it is filled with real events and is based on a real person. The Weather Girls is great for anyone who enjoys history.

My second miniature book is Elsetime by Eve McDonnell. Elsetime is a historical fiction, Middle-Grade. It follows Needle and Glory, who live in the same place but over fifty years apart. Needle travels into the future to warn Glory about a huge flood, and the two of them need to save the town before anyone dies. This book is based on real events with a bit of magic added in, it’s great for anyone 9+

My final miniature book is Jamie by L.D. Lapinski. Jamie is a sweet and funny book about a non-binary kid named Jamie. They have a great life until they realise that their going to have to choose between either and all girls school or an all boys school next year. This book is really heartwarming and is about protest, acceptance and change.
