Little Bang is such a sweet book that’s impossible to put down. When I picked it up I thought it would be a good book but I was not expecting to still think about Mel and Sid almost everyday. I enjoyed reading every page of this book.

Little Bang is about Mel and Sid, complete opposites, who get pregnant on their first date. Mel’s religious family is adamant that she keep the baby even if it ruins her chances to go to college abroad. With abortion being illegal in Northern Ireland, She and Sid might not have a choice to keep it or not.

I love this book so much. I loved watching the characters change and develop their beliefs, life view and relationships throughout the book. Plus, the ending was surprising but in a good way. I love how the book ended for all the characters.

My favorite character is probably Sid because of how he tries his best to support Mel and does eventually admit he was wrong whenever he messes up. I also love his hair; it’s just described in a really nice way.
